Shifting his tone, Trump floated the idea that the terror-harbouring country might sell oil to New Delhi someday. He wrote, “We have just concluded a Deal with the Country of Pakistan, whereby Pakistan and the United States will work together on developing their massive Oil Reserves. We are in the process of choosing the Oil Company that will lead this Partnership. Who knows, maybe they’ll be selling Oil to New Delhi someday!”
Trump Says, ‘Other Countries Are Making Offers for Tariff Reduction’
Trump’s remarks came after he announced a 25% tariff on imports from India and a penalty on the purchase of Russian oil, starting August 1. He further stated in his post that several countries are making offers to Washington for a reduction in tariffs. He said, “Likewise, other Countries are making offers for a Tariff reduction.
