Afghanistan’s Ministry of Defense has announced that the Taliban forces has attacked in multiple areas in Pakistan. This happened after the recent attack on the Afghan area by Pakistan.
However, the Statement issued by the ministry on Saturday did not explicitly name Pakistan as the target. They indicated that the attack happed beyond the hypothetical line.
As quoted by Al Jazeera, the ministry stated that “Several points beyond the hypothetical line, serving as centres and hideouts for malicious elements and their supporters who organized and coordinated attacks in Afghanistan, were targeted in retaliation from the southeastern direction of the country.”
When questioned if the statement referred to Pakistan, the spokesperson of ministry Enayatullah Khowarazmi told that, we do not acknowledge it as the region of Pakistan, hence we cannot specify the region, but it is beyond the hypothetical line.
Pakistan’s Attack In Afghanistan
On Tuesday late at Night, the Pakistan military carried out an airstrike in Afghanistan targeting the hideouts of the Pakistan Taliban, also known as TTP.
The interim government led by the Taliban acknowledged the attacks. According to the media reports, around 46 people, which include women and children were killed in the airstrike.
