The two freed citizens, identified as Judith Tai Raanan and her 17-year-old daughter, Natali Raanan, both hailing from Chicago, were now safe with Israeli troops, according to The Times of Israel.
Their release was achieved through negotiations involving Qatar and Hamas, as reported by CNN.
