Some individuals have claimed to have witnessed an alien encounter, sharing videos on the social media platform Instagram. They assert having observed two strange beings, which they believe to be aliens. Those making the claims are hikers residing in Brazil, including one named Sara Daleti. According to her, she was with her family at the location called Ilha do Mel when she recorded the video. Later, the video went viral on X (formerly Twitter) as well. The mysterious creatures were seen standing atop a mountain, seemingly observing humans. A report states that Daleti mentioned, ‘Reaching such a height is not possible.’ She further described both entities rapidly moving their hands.

Nevertheless, they remained standing on the mountain throughout the entire video. Prior to this in Brazil, there have been claims of people witnessing alien sightings. The incident in 1996, where a UFO sighting was reported in Varginha, has also sparked considerable discussions.

Although this is the first time in Brazil’s history that someone has claimed to witness aliens in Ilha do Mel, UFO expert Nick Pope does not believe in the story told by Daleti.
Speaking to the Metro website, he said, ‘This story and the reactions to it are indeed strange. There is no concrete evidence that any event related to UFOs and aliens has occurred. There is nothing else besides the police response to the fight among the youth. People on social media have also denied believing that the creatures seen on the mountain are aliens. They suggest it could be something else. One user said, ‘When will we get a close-up, high-definition footage of aliens? Maybe this is a scarecrow.’ Another user commented, ‘Whenever these videos come out, they look like they were made with a BlackBerry phone
