Whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, carrots, applesauce, maple syrup, eggs, vanilla.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch cake pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat together eggs, applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack. Slice, serve, and enjoy this winter treat.
