Bajra, olive oil, onion, carrot, tomato, garlic, ginger, cumin, turmeric, pepper, salt, cilantro, broth.
Wash the Bajra and cook it in water until tender. It should take about 30 minutes. Set aside.
Add cumin seeds, turmeric, black pepper, and salt. Stir well to combine and let the spices bloom.
In a pot, heat olive oil. Sauté onions, garlic, ginger, and carrots until soft and fragrant.
Pour in the vegetable broth and bring it to a boil. Add the cooked Bajra and stir.
Let it simmer on low heat for 10 minutes to blend the flavors together.
Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lemon. Your healthy Bajra Soup is ready to enjoy.
