- Whole wheat flour - Chopped vegetables (carrots, tomatoes, onions, capsicum) - Green chili and fresh coriander - Salt, turmeric, and other spices to taste - Water
In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour, chopped vegetables, salt, and spices. Gradually add water to make a smooth batter.
Add chopped coriander and green chilies to the batter. These add flavor and a fresh, herby kick!
Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it thinly.
Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip to cook the other side until both sides are golden brown.
Serve your whole wheat vegetable cheela hot, paired with yogurt or green chutney for a tasty and healthy breakfast!
