– 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced) – 1 cup milk – 1/2 cup sugar – 1/4 cup cornstarch – 1/4 tsp salt – 1 tsp vanilla extract – Whipped cream (for topping)
Wash and slice the strawberries. Set aside some for garnish.
In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until it thickens. Add vanilla extract.
Stir in the sliced strawberries into the pudding mixture.
Pour the mixture into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Top with whipped cream and garnish with fresh strawberries.
