West Nile is a virus that is transmitted by mosquito bites. Recently, WNV was discovered in Kerala.
Infected people develop a high fever.
Approximately 80% of infected people may experience headache and nausea.
These are the common symptoms that are usually seen in infected people.
Lymphatic swelling is another key symptom.
There is no vaccination available for this Virus. It only include hospitalization and prevention from secondary infections.
