Warm Up With A Hearty Red Lentil Soup

Ingredients

Red lentils, onion, garlic cloves, carrot, celery stalk, tomatoes, cumin, turmeric, salt, pepper, and olive oil.

Add Onion

Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat, add the onion and garlic, and stir for 3-4 minutes, until fragrant.

Sauté Veggies

Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and celery. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.

Add Spices & Lentils

Stir in cumin, turmeric, salt, pepper, and red lentils. Cook for 2 minutes to release the spices' aroma.

Blend It 

or a creamy texture, blend the soup using an immersion blender or regular blender.

Bake & Enjoy

Ladle soup into bowls, top with fresh herbs, and serve hot. Enjoy your comforting bowl of Red Lentil Soup.
