Start by boiling the sweet potatoes until soft.
Peel and mash the sweet potatoes once they're cooked and soft.
Heat ghee in a pan. Add cardamom and saffron for fragrance and flavor.
Add the mashed sweet potatoes to the ghee and cook, stirring well.
Add sugar or jaggery to the cooked sweet potatoes. Stir until the sugar dissolves and the halwa thickens..
