Vendaya Kozhukattai Recipe: A Traditional South Indian Steamed Delight

Soak rice, urad dal, and fenugreek seeds separately for 1 hour. 

Grind the dal and fenugreek seeds into a smooth paste, then grind rice into a slightly grainy paste. 

Mix both with 1 cup of fresh coconut in a bowl.

Form small portions, coat with coconut, and place on a steamer plate. 

Steam for 15 minutes until cooked.

Optional: Add crushed cumin and pepper for a spicy twist.
