Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow it to cool completely.
Pour about 6 oz of cherry glaze over the top of the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
Spread the vanilla frosting over the top of the cake. Drizzle any remaining cherry glaze on top for an extra spooky effect.
Cut into squares and serve at your Halloween gathering!
