Try This Kerala Style Red Coconut Chutney At Home

You need a shallots, onion, coconut, dry chilli, curry leaves, some spices, garlic, ginger, coconut oil, urad dal and mustard seed.

Ingredients

In a Grinder, add grated coconut, onion, red chili, ginger, galic cloves, salt and water and grind.

Make Chutney

Take the chutney in a small steel bowl or pan and keep aside.

Grind

Heat coconut oil in a tadka pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, dry red chilli, onion and shallots and saute.

Tadka

Add the tempering along with the oil to the Red Coconut Chutney. Stir well to mix.

Serve the Kerala style Red Coconut Chutney with oats idli, dosa.
