All-purpose flour, milk, sugar, active dry yeast, butter, salt, egg, water.
Activate the yeast: Combine warm water and sugar. Stir in yeast and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
Mix flour, salt, sugar, and the yeast mixture in a large bowl. Add milk, egg, and butter. Knead until smooth.
Let the dough rise for 1-2 hours in a warm place, until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough, divide it into small portions, and shape into round buns.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
