2 ripe bananas, 2 cups flour, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp cardamom, pinch of salt, 1/2 cup water, oil for frying.
Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl until smooth. The riper, the better.
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and cardamom powder. Add the mashed bananas and mix well.
Gradually add water to form a soft, smooth dough. Knead for 5 minutes.
Divide the dough into small balls and flatten them gently with your fingers into round buns.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the buns until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
