The Unwritten Rules Of UNO: What You Need To Know

7-0 Rule

When a player plays a 7, they must swap hands with another player. If a 0 is played, all players pass their hands in the direction of play.

Draw Two Stacking

In some house rules, players can stack Draw Two cards. If you play a Draw Two card, the next player can also play a Draw Two card, forcing the next player to draw the total.

Challenge Draw Four

f a player plays a Wild Draw Four card, you can challenge them if you believe they have a card matching the color of the discard pile.

Uno Call

When you have one card left, you must yell 'UNO!' If another player catches you not calling it before your turn ends, you must draw two cards as a penalty.

Pick Up And Play

If you draw a card from the deck and it’s playable, you can play it immediately instead of waiting for your next turn.

Wild Card Customization

The blank card in some UNO decks can be used as a customizable Wild card.

Force Play Rule

If you draw a playable card, it must be played immediately without waiting for your turn.
