- 6 egg yolks - ¾ cup sugar - 1 cup mascarpone cheese - 1 ½ cups heavy cream - 2 cups strong brewed coffee - 1 pack ladyfinger cookies - Cocoa powder for dusting
Brew 2 cups of strong coffee and let it cool. You can add a splash of rum or brandy for extra flavor.
In a bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside for layering.
Beat egg yolks and sugar together until pale and creamy. Then gently fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth.
Dip ladyfingers in coffee, then layer them in a dish. Add a layer of mascarpone mixture, followed by whipped cream. Repeat the layers.
Refrigerate the Tiramisu for at least 4 hours. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder for that classic look.
