Marinate chicken with salt, soy sauce, vinegar, and set aside for 30 minutes.
Blend onion, ginger, and garlic into a fine puree.
Cook the marinated chicken on high heat in oil until browned, then set aside.
In the same pan, cook the ground masala until oil separates, then add spices, ketchup, and water.
Add the browned chicken, cover, and cook for 25-30 minutes.
Stir in coriander leaves and serve hot.
