You need a bell peppers, green chilies, basil, oil, garlic, ginger, sugar, lemon juice, salt, cumin powder.
Start by roasting the bell peppers on an open flame until the skin is charred. This gives the chutney a smoky flavor.
Once the peppers are roasted, let them cool slightly. Peel off the skin, remove the seeds.
Blend the bell pepper, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
In a pan, heat oil. Add the blended bell pepper mix and cook it on low heat. Add sugar, roasted cumin powder, and a squeeze of lemon juice.
Once the chutney thickens and the flavors blend together, remove it from the heat. Let it cool down.
Your homemade bell pepper chutney is ready to serve.
