– Penne pasta – Olive oil – Garlic (minced) – Crushed red chili flakes – Tomatoes (diced or canned) – Tomato paste – Fresh basil leaves – Salt and pepper – Parmesan cheese (optional)
Boil penne pasta in salted water until soft. Drain and set aside.
In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
Toss in red chili flakes and cook for a minute for a fiery kick.
Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt, pepper, and fresh basil. Add the pasta and toss to coat evenly.
Top with Parmesan if desired. Your Arrabiata pasta is ready to impress!
