Peel, core, and thinly slice apples, set aside.
Melt butter, add flour, sugars, and water, and cook until thickened.
Press one pastry into a pie pan and cut the second into strips for the lattice.
Place sliced apples in the bottom crust and arrange lattice strips on top.
Pour the sugar-butter mixture over the lattice and apples.
Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes, then reduce to 350°F and bake until apples are soft. Enjoy!
