- Fresh ravioli - 4 ripe tomatoes - ½ cup tomato puree - 3 cloves garlic (minced) - 2 tbsp olive oil - Fresh basil leaves - ½ tsp chili flakes (optional) - Salt and pepper to taste - Parmesan cheese (grated)
Boil ravioli in salted water until they float to the top about 3-4 minutes for store-bought, fresh ravioli.
Heat olive oil, sauté garlic until fragrant, add chopped tomatoes, and ½ cup of tomato puree.
Cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
Toss the cooked ravioli in the fresh tomato sauce until well coated.
Sprinkle fresh basil on top for an added burst of flavor.
Grate some fresh Parmesan cheese over the ravioli for a creamy finish and your tomato ravioli is ready to serve enjoy with a side of garlic bread!
