Savor The Creaminess Of Kerala’s Authentic Moru Curry

You  need a water, yogurt, garlic, ginger, curry leaves, red chili, cumin seed, mustard seed, oil, some spices and shallots.

Ingredients

Heat 2 tbsp coconut oil in a pan, add mustard seed, cumin seed red chili, curry eaves and ginger. Add shallots and fry until they turn slightly brown

Saute

Now add ½ teaspoon turmeric powder and mix well.

Add Spices

Now add the yogurt mixture to the pan and mix well. Cook the curry till it just starts to boil.

Add Yogurt

Now add ½ teaspoon salt and mix well. Check for salt and add more if needed.

Add Salt

Serve Moru Curry and plain steamed rice.
