Preheat oven to 180°C and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in one bowl, combine cocoa, hot water, oil, vanilla, and eggs in another.
Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients to make a slightly runny batter.
Pour the batter into the pan, sprinkle glazed cherries on top, and bake for 45-60 minutes.
Cool the cake, unmold it, and place it on a serving platter.
Melt chocolate with oil, glaze the cake, slice, and serve.
