Kritika Handa
Born on September 5, 1888, in Tiruttani, Tamil Nadu, to Sarvepalli Veeraswami and Sitamma.
Graduated with distinction in Philosophy from Madras University in 1908, winning the Gold Medal.
Taught Philosophy at Madras Presidency College, Calcutta University, and Oxford University, becoming Knightbridge Professor.
Served as India's second President from 1962 to 1967, promoting national integration and education.
Authored 57 books, including "Indian Philosophy," "The Bhagavadgita," and "The Hindu View of Life."
Awarded Bharat Ratna in 1954, Order of Merit in 1963, and honorary degrees from 19 universities.
