Quick & Easy Carrot Payasam Recipe

You need a milk, carrots, dry fruits, saffron, cardamom, sugar.

Ingredients

Soak cashew and badam in water for 15-20 mins. Peel off almonds skin. Keep aside.

Soak The Dry Fruits

Peel the skin of the carrots and roughly chop it.

Peel Off 

Saute

Add a tsp of ghee and saute them in ghee for 1-2 mins..

Add Milk And Water

Pressure cook carrot by adding 1 cup of milk & 1/2 cup water till 3-4 whistles.

Grind Carrot And DryFruits

Grind the carrots along with cashew, badam , cardamom and a pinch of saffron . Blend to a smooth paste.

Add Carrot Paste

 Add this carrot paste to the milk, add sugar , mix well . Add another 2 cups of milk and adjust the consistency .

Serve

Your perfect homemade carrot payasam is ready. Serve and enjoy.
