Combine meatball ingredients in a bowl.
Mix cornflour with 1 tbsp water, then add soy sauce, sake, mirin, and sugar.
Incorporate 2 tsp teriyaki sauce into the meatball mixture.
Roll the mixture into heaped tablespoon-sized balls.
Cook meatballs in a skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, then lower the heat.
Add sauce, simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened, and serve over rice with garnishes.
