Craving a classic dessert? This apple pie recipe is simple yet irresistibly delicious!
- 6 cups sliced apples - 1/2 cup sugar - 1/4 cup brown sugar - 1 tsp cinnamon - 1 tbsp lemon juice - Pie crust (store-bought or homemade) - 2 tbsp butter (optional)
Mix apples, sugars, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl. Toss until the apples are well coated.
Place one pie crust in a baking dish. Pour the apple mixture into the crust, and dot with butter.
Cover with the second crust, seal the edges, and cut slits for steam. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 50-60 minutes.
Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream for a delightful treat!
