1 cup pistachio nuts, 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking powder, ½ cup unsalted butter, 1 cup sugar, 2 eggs, ½ cup milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, pinch of salt.
Grind the pistachios into a fine powder.
In a bowl, combine flour, ground pistachios, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs one at a time, beating well. Stir in vanilla and milk, then gradually mix in the dry ingredients until smooth.
Pour the batter into a greased cake pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
