In a pot, boil 1 cup of water and 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves for 2-3 minutes.
Add crushed cardamom, ginger, or a cinnamon stick for a flavorful masala chai twist.
Pour in 1 cup of full-fat milk, stirring well. Simmer the tea on medium heat.
Add 1-2 teaspoons of sugar (or to taste). Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
Let the chai simmer for 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to intensify and blend perfectly.
Using a fine strainer, pour the tea into your kullhad (clay cup) to filter out the leaves and spices.
