– 1 loaf of French bread or baguette – 1/4 cup butter (softened) – 4-5 garlic cloves (minced) – 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped) – Optional: Grated cheese for topping
Mix softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt for extra flavor.
Slice the bread diagonally, ensuring you don’t cut all the way through. This keeps the loaf intact.
Generously spread the garlic butter mixture between and on top of the slices. Add grated cheese if desired.
Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Unwrap and bake for another 5 minutes for a crispy crust.
Serve your garlic bread warm, paired with soup, pasta, or as a standalone snack.
