Sir M. Visvesvaraya He was the chief engineer of the Krishna Raja Sagara dam near Mysore. He is also known for his role in revolutionizing the flood-protection system in Hyderabad. His birthday is celebrated as Engineer's day in India, Tanzania, and Sri Lanka.

Dr A.P. J. Abdul Kalam He was the 11th president of India. He was known as the 'People's President' and the 'Missile Man of India,' earlier he was an aerospace scientist at DRDO and ISRO.

E. Sreedharan He played an important role in the construction of the Delhi Metro and the Konkan Railway. He is also known as 'Metro Man.' He was awarded the prestigious 'Padma Vibhushan' award for changing the face of Indian public transport.

N.R Narayana Murthy He is the founder of Infosys and a chairman, chief executive officer  (CEO), president, and chief mentor of the company. He also received the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.

Verghese Kurien He is also known as the "Father of the White Revolution" in India. He was honoured with the prestigious awards 'Padma Bhushan' and 'Padma Shri' in 1966 and 1965.

Man Mohan Sharma He is an Indian chemical engineer and became a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. Later, become the director of UDCT. He was honoured with the Padma Vibhushan (2001), and Padma Bhushan (1987) by the President of India.

Nandan Nilekani He is a co-founder of Infosys and someone who has brought the Indian biometric ID Aadhaar. He was named to the Forbes list of India's Richest in 2021.

Satish Dhawan He was an Indian aerospace engineer, known for his research in the field of boundary layers and turbulence. He was the chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization from 1972 to 1984. During his role, he played an important role in the development of the space program in India.
