Kritika Handa
Combine wheat flour, fresh methi leaves, spices, and yogurt to form a soft dough for the theplas.
Enhance the flavor with turmeric, chili powder, coriander, cumin seeds, and ajwain for a delicious kick.
Knead the dough thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed and it becomes smooth and pliable.
Take small portions of the dough and roll them out into thin, round discs using a rolling pin.
Place the rolled-out thepla on a hot tawa (griddle) and cook for a few seconds on each side.
Brush some ghee or oil on both sides while cooking until golden brown spots appear.
Serve the methi theplas hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney for a wholesome, flavorful meal.
