Maruti Suzuki is planning to introduce Swift CNG version of the popular hatchback in the second week of September.
The Maruti Suzuki Swift is priced between Rs 6.49 lakh and Rs 9.59 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new car has Z-Series 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which produces a maximum power of 82PS and a peak torque of 113Nm.
Rivals to the new Swift CNG will include the Tata Tiago CNG, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG, TataPunch CNG, and the Hyundai Exter CNG.
The petrol tank of the new-gen Maruti Swift has a capacity of 37 liters. we expect the same features to be carried over to the Swift CNG.
