Make Yummy Motichoor Ladoo In Just 30 Minutes

Take  1 cup besan (gram flour), 1/4 tsp baking powder , Oil , 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water,  1/4 tsp cardamom powder, a few saffron strands, chopped nuts and edible silver or gold leaf. 

In a pan, combine sugar, and water then let it boil for a few minutes .Add cardamom powder and saffron, and set aside.

In the next step, combine besan, baking powder, and enough water to make a smooth batter.

Heat oil in a pan, use a slotted spoon to pour the batter into the hot oil, allowing small droplets to fall into the oil. Fry until golden brown and crisp.

Once all the boondi is fried, immediately add it to the sugar syrup. Mix well until the boondi absorbs the syrup.

Then grease your hands with ghee and take small portions of the mixture to shape them into small ladoos.

Roll the ladoos in chopped nuts or garnish with edible silver or gold leaf and enjoy!
