– 4 ripe kiwis – 1 cup of sugar – 1 tbsp of lemon juice -- Salt
Peel and chop the kiwis into small chunks. This helps them cook down faster.
Add the chopped kiwis, sugar, and lemon juice to a pot. Stir and bring to a boil.
Let it simmer on low heat for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until it thickens.
Test the consistency by placing a spoonful on a cold plate. If it gels, it’s ready.
Pour the hot jam into sterilized jars and seal tightly.
Let the jars cool to room temperature. Your fresh kiwi jam is now ready to enjoy.
