Make These Jam Filled Cookies For Christmas Cheer

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter (softened) 2/3 cup sugar 2 large egg yolks 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/3 cup fruit jam (strawberry, raspberry, or your favorite)

Heat The Milk And Cream

In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolks and vanilla, then mix in flour and salt until a dough forms.

Shape And Chill

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill for 30 minutes to firm up.

Create Thumbprints

Using your thumb, gently press into the center of each ball to create an indent. Fill each indent with a small spoonful of jam.

Bake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the cookies for 12–15 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool on a wire rack.

Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with melted white chocolate for extra holiday charm!
