Make Tasty Sunnundalu (Urad Dal Ladoo) At Home

Ingredients 

1 cup urad dal, 1/2 cup jaggery, 1/4 cup ghee, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, and cashews.

Roasting Urad Dal

Start by dry roasting 1 cup urad dal on medium heat until golden and aromatic.

Grinding Dal

Once cooled, grind the roasted dal into a fine powder using a food processor or stone grinder.

Preparing Jaggery Syrup

Melt 1/2 cup jaggery in a little water over low heat to make a thick syrup.

Forming Ladoos

Add roasted cashews to the dal-jaggery mixture, and form small ladoos (balls) using your hands.
