Wash the basmati rice and soak it for 15 minutes.
In a blender, add Spinach and dry chilies, grind until a fine paste.
In a hot pan, sauté cumin, chopped onions, and tomatoes until soft and fragrant.
Stir in the spinach paste, spices, and cook for 2-3 minutes until aromatic.
Add soaked rice and water to the spinach mixture. Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is fluffy and green.
Serve it hot with raita or a squeeze of lemon.
