1 cup vermicelli noodles, 2 cups milk, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup ghee/butter, 1/2 cup chopped almonds/pistachios, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, 1/4 tsp saffron threads, chopped nuts/dried fruits for garnish.

Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee or butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the vermicelli noodles and roast until lightly browned.

Add 2 cups of milk to the pan and cook the vermicelli noodles until they're soft and the milk has thickened.

Add 1 cup of sugar, 1/4 cup of chopped almonds and pistachios, and 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom powder to the pan. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Add the soaked saffron threads and 2 tablespoons of ghee or butter to the pan. Mix well

Add the chopped nuts and dry fruits for garnishing.
