Make Authentic Madras Style Chicken Chettinad

Take  500 gms Chicken, 75 ml Oil, 150 gms Onions, 100 gms Tomatoes, 2 gms Cinnamon sticks, 2 gms Cloves,2 gms Cardamoms,  5 gms Cumin, 2 gms Curry leaves and 10 gms Turmeric powder.

For paste take 100 gms Onions, 50 gms Ginger, 50 gms Garlic 50 gram Fennel seeds,20 gms Cumin seeds, 25 gms Peppercorns,10 gms Red chillies and 100 gms Coconut.

Grind the ingredients into a a paste. Clean and cut the chicken intopieces. Marinate the chicken with the grinded  paste for about 30 minutes.

Chop the tomatoes, coriander leaves and the onions.

Heat oil in a pan and add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, cumin and saute it.

Add chopped onions and curry leaves into the same pan.

Add the tomatoes, salt,marinated chicken and turmeric powder. Saute everything for 10 minutes.

Garnish it with some fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
