Marinate mutton with ginger-garlic paste, spices, and yogurt, refrigerate for 5 hours.
Heat oil in a pan, then saute coriander powder, asafoetida, red chilli powder, green chillies, and ginger for 4-5 minutes.
Add chopped onions and cook until they change colour.
Stir in gram flour, cooking carefully to avoid burning.
Add marinated mutton and turmeric, stir-cook briefly.
Mix in yogurt and simmer on low heat for an hour, adjust seasoning before serving hot.
