Kuska Rice: A Simple Dish With Big Flavor

Soak

Soak rice in enough water for 20 to 30 minutes.

Saute

Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pot. Add caraway seeds, cumin seed, cardamom, cloves, tej patta.

Add Onions

Add onions and sauté the onions on low heat. Then add galic ginger paste and mix it.

Add Tomatoes

Add Chopped tomatoes, green chilli, mint leaves, coriander leaves and mix it well.

Cook Kuska Rice

On medium heat, bring the entire water mixture to a boil. When the water starts boiling, remove the lid and then add the rice.

Cook

Then Season with salt, Add 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Place a cotton kitchen towel on the pan.  place the lid on the pan.

Serve

It will take about 8 minutes for the rice to cook and soften.When the rice grains are soft and all the water has been absorbed. Serve and enjoy.
