Make sure your hands are clean and free of oils or lotions before applying mehendi for the best results.
Keep the mehendi on for at least 6-8 hours or overnight to ensure deeper penetration and richer color.
Once your mehendi starts drying, apply a mixture of lemon juice and sugar to keep the mehendi moist and help intensify the color.
After removing the mehendi, avoid washing your hands with water immediately. Instead, use a dry cloth to scrape it off.
Expose your hands to indirect heat (like warming your hands near a stove) after removing the mehendi. This helps enhance the color.
Heat some cloves in a pan and expose your hands to the fumes. The warmth and oils from the cloves will darken the mehendi.
Post-mehendi, moisturize your hands with natural oils like coconut or mustard oil to maintain the rich color and prevent fading.
