1 cup pitted dates, 1 tbsp tamarind pulp, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp red chili, salt to taste, 1 tbsp jaggery (optional).
Start by soaking the dates in warm water for 5-10 minutes to soften them.
Blend the soaked dates with tamarind pulp into a smooth paste.
Mix in ginger powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt for that perfect balance of flavors.
Add jaggery (optional) for extra sweetness, and blend again for a smooth texture.
Your Jharkhand Special Dates Chutney is ready in just 15 minutes! Serve with paratha, or as a dip.
