Rinse, peel, and grate the mangoes.
Powder cardamoms and cloves, then set aside.
In a pan, combine grated mangoes and sugar, cook on low heat, stirring often.
Simmer until the mixture reaches a 2-thread consistency.
Stir in powdered spices and crushed saffron, then mix well.
Cool and store in a sterilized jar, serve as a condiment with meals.
