Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and clean mushrooms.
Remove and mince mushroom stems.
Toss caps with olive oil and black pepper on a baking sheet.
Saute onions and minced stems in butter until soft.
Add garlic and herbs, then mix with toasted breadcrumbs.
Stuff caps with filling, bake until the cheese melts, and serve with herbs.
