A strange case has emerged from Madhya Pradesh's capital city, Bhopal. Here, a wife has filed for divorce from her spouse.
The husband promised to take his wife to Goa but instead took her to Ayodhya. As a result of this, the wife filed for divorce in family court. At the moment, both husband and wife are being counselled.
According to relationship counselor Shail Awasthi, the couple got married in August last year in the Piplani area of Bhopal.
The husband is an IT engineer with a good salary. The couple discussed going on a honeymoon, but the wife suggested a foreign destination.
The husband, citing his elderly parents, suggested an Indian tourist destination, and both parties agreed.
Despite this, the wife claims that a day before their planned vacation, the husband informed her that they were heading to the religious sites of Ayodhya and Banaras because the mother needed to attend the temple.
The wife went on a holiday with her family, but when they returned, they had a large dispute over the same subject, so the wife filed for divorce in family court.
