1/2 cup falooda sev (vermicelli), 2 tablespoons basil seeds, 1 cup milk, 3 tablespoons rose syrup, 3 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk, Chopped dry fruits, crushed ice.
Soak the basil seeds in water for 15-20 minutes until they puff up and turn gelatinous. Drain the excess water.
Boil the falooda sev for 2-3 minutes, drain, and rinse in cold water.
In a glass, add a spoonful of soaked basil seeds at the bottom. Follow with a layer of cooked falooda sev.
Pour in the rose syrup for sweetness and colour. Pour chilled milk over the layers. You can mix in condensed milk for extra sweetness and creaminess.
Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, crushed ice, chopped fruits (crushed pistachios or almonds). Enjoy the refreshing and delicious Hyderabadi Falooda!
